Product Guarantees & Important Information
At Amazing Transfers, we’re committed to producing high-quality transfers, fast.
We back our products and service with clear guarantees, but there are also some important factors that can affect the final result, including artwork quality, garment type, application method, washing, storage and the equipment used to apply your transfers.
This page explains what our guarantees cover, the conditions that apply, and what you can do to achieve the best possible results.
24-Hour FAST Turnaround Guarantee
24-hour FAST turnaround guaranteed or your money back*.
Our 24-hour turnaround refers to the time from final artwork approval to when your transfers are ready for dispatch or collection from our facility.
The 24-hour production period begins once your artwork has received final approval, not when your order is initially placed.
Important conditions
Our 24-hour turnaround:
-
Applies to business days only.
-
Does not include weekends or public holidays.
-
Begins only after final artwork approval.
-
Restarts if artwork is changed, replaced or resubmitted after approval.
-
Covers production only and does not include courier or postal delivery time.
-
May be affected where an order is placed on hold because we require information, replacement artwork or clarification from you.
-
Does not include delays caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control.
During major sales or promotional periods, order volumes are generally substantially higher than normal. Standard turnaround times will be extended, the promotional turnaround conditions will apply.
What does "money back" mean?
Where an eligible order does not meet our advertised 24-hour production guarantee, the remedy available under the guarantee will be as set out in the promotional or guarantee terms applicable at the time of purchase.
This guarantee applies in addition to any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
52-Wash Guarantee
We’re confident in the durability of our DTF transfers.
Our DTF transfers have been internally tested to withstand 52 washes when correctly applied, washed and cared for in accordance with our recommended instructions.
The 52-Wash Guarantee relates to the durability of the DTF transfer itself and is subject to the transfer being correctly applied to a suitable garment or fabric.
To qualify for the 52-Wash Guarantee
The transfer must have been:
-
Applied using a suitable commercial-grade heat press capable of providing consistent temperature and pressure.
-
Applied using our recommended temperature, pressure and pressing time for the relevant fabric.
-
Peeled and post-pressed in accordance with our application instructions.
-
Applied to a new, suitable garment or fabric.
-
Allowed to cure for at least 24 - 36 hours before its first wash.
-
Washed in accordance with our recommended care instructions.
-
Stored appropriately before application.
Heat presses vary in actual temperature and pressure. We strongly recommend testing unfamiliar garments, fabrics and presses before commencing larger production runs.
The guarantee may not apply where failure is caused by:
-
Insufficient or excessive heat.
-
Insufficient or excessive pressure.
-
Incorrect pressing time.
-
Incorrect peeling technique.
-
Failure to complete the recommended second press.
-
Use of an iron, EasyPress-style device or other unsuitable application equipment.
-
Application over seams, zips, buttons, pockets or other uneven surfaces.
-
Application to unsuitable or heat-sensitive materials.
-
Fabric coatings, waterproofing, silicone, treatments or contaminants that interfere with adhesion.
-
Washing or drying outside our recommended care instructions.
-
Washing the garment within 24 hours of application.
-
Bleach or harsh chemicals.
-
Excessive tumble-drying temperatures.
-
Incorrect storage before application.
-
Damage caused by abrasion, stretching, misuse or normal wear and tear.
Where a transfer issue occurs, we may request photographs, order details and information about the garment, heat press, application settings and washing method so we can identify the likely cause.
Artwork Quality
The quality of your finished transfer depends heavily on the quality of the artwork supplied.
For the best results, artwork should be supplied at the highest practical resolution and at or close to the intended print size.
Low-resolution, heavily compressed, pixelated or otherwise poor-quality artwork may produce a lower-quality printed result.
Increasing the physical size of low-resolution artwork does not increase its original detail.
Where our system identifies potential artwork concerns, we may provide warnings or request revised artwork; however, customers remain responsible for reviewing and approving their artwork before production.
Fine Detail & Small Text
DTF printing can reproduce excellent detail, but extremely small elements may not print or adhere reliably.
As a general guide, we recommend:
-
Fine lines and small elements of approximately 0.8–1 mm or greater.
-
Sans-serif text of approximately 8 pt or larger wherever possible.
Results can vary depending on artwork design, colour, garment texture and the intended print size.
Very fine lines, tiny text, distressed artwork and isolated small elements may have reduced durability.
Transparency
Transparency can behave differently in DTF printing compared with what is displayed on a computer screen.
Semi-transparent colours may not reproduce in the same way as fully opaque colours.
Fade-to-transparent effects, very low-opacity elements and complex transparency effects, such as drop shadows may produce unpredictable results.
For the most consistent result, we recommend using fully opaque artwork wherever practical.
Colour Reproduction
We take colour reproduction seriously and use a professionally calibrated print workflow.
However, colours displayed on a monitor, phone or tablet are produced using light, while printed colours are produced using physical inks.
For this reason, an exact match between your screen and a printed transfer cannot be guaranteed.
Colour appearance may also be affected by:
-
Screen calibration.
-
Device type.
-
Screen brightness.
-
Artwork colour profile.
-
Fabric colour or dye used.
-
Fabric texture.
-
Lighting conditions.
-
Transfer type.
Our DTF printing system uses an expanded ink configuration to reproduce a wide colour gamut; however, some colours cannot be reproduced exactly using DTF printing.
Pantone, Neon, Fluorescent & Metallic Colours
Exact Pantone matching is not guaranteed unless a specific physical colour-matching service has been agreed with us.
Pantone colours displayed on a computer screen should not be considered a reliable representation of the final printed colour.
Fluorescent, neon and metallic colours cannot be accurately reproduced using standard DTF inks.
Where colour accuracy is critical, please contact us before placing your production order.
We may recommend a physical colour swatch, colour matching service or a test print.
Colour Variation Between Orders
We maintain calibrated printing equipment and colour-managed workflows; however, minor variations between separate production runs can occur.
Variations can result from factors such as:
-
Ink batches.
-
Film batches.
-
printer calibration.
-
environmental conditions.
-
garment colour or material.
-
changes to artwork files.
If you're producing items that must closely match an existing print run, we recommend ordering the required quantity together wherever possible.
Artwork Approval
Artwork approval is an important part of our production process.
By approving artwork for production, you are confirming that you have reviewed the supplied design and are satisfied with matters including:
-
Artwork version.
-
Spelling.
-
Layout.
-
Orientation.
-
Quantity.
-
Dimensions.
-
Placement within the supplied sheet or canvas.
-
General appearance.
If artwork is replaced or changed after approval, the order may require re-approval and the production turnaround will recommence from the new approval time.
Approval does not remove any rights you may otherwise have under Australian Consumer Law where we fail to supply the product as agreed.
Artwork Sizing
Please carefully check the dimensions of your artwork before approving your order.
Where artwork contains unnecessary transparent or blank space around the design, our upload system may crop that space so the displayed dimensions represent the actual printable artwork, rather than the outside dimensions of the original file.
Customers are responsible for checking the displayed print dimensions before placing an order. By placing an order you agree to proceed with the artwork as provided unless a quality review is selected.
Images shown on screen should not be relied upon as a physical-size reference. Always use the dimensions displayed by the editor.
DTF Application
Correct application is essential to achieving a durable transfer.
Our recommended heat-press settings are intended as a starting point based on our own testing.
Individual heat presses can vary significantly in temperature calibration, pressure and heat distribution.
We recommend conducting a test before commencing a production run, particularly when using:
-
A new heat press.
-
An unfamiliar garment.
-
A new fabric.
-
Heat-sensitive materials.
-
Performance fabrics.
-
Coated garments.
If adhesion is poor, the most common causes are insufficient heat, insufficient pressure, or garment treatments that can interfere with adhesion, such as certain chemicals used for wind- or water-resistant finishes.
Application Over Seams and Uneven Areas
Transfers can sometimes be applied across seams, pockets or other changes in garment thickness, but the result may be less durable.
Uneven surfaces prevent the heat press from applying consistent pressure across the entire transfer.
This may lead to reduced adhesion around the raised area.
For best durability, we recommend applying transfers to flat, even sections of the garment wherever possible.
Garment & Fabric Compatibility
DTF transfers are compatible with many commonly used fabrics, but not every fabric, coating or garment treatment behaves in the same way.
Customers should confirm that their garment can safely tolerate the required heat and pressure.
Extra care should be taken with:
-
Nylon.
-
Polyester.
-
Sublimated garments.
-
Waterproof fabrics.
-
Water-resistant coatings.
-
Silicone-treated fabrics.
-
Performance fabrics.
-
Heat-sensitive materials.
Where you are unsure about a garment, we recommend testing a sample before completing the full production run.
Amazing Transfers cannot guarantee transfer performance where the garment material, coating or treatment prevents correct adhesion. We recommend carrying out your own testing to confirm adhesion, wash durability and long-term performance before proceeding with full production.
Dye Migration
Some polyester and sublimated garments can experience dye migration, where dye from the fabric moves into the transfer after application.
This can cause white or light-coloured areas of the transfer to change colour.
Dye migration is caused by dyes within the garment and can vary significantly between manufacturers, colours and fabric batches.
We recommend testing unfamiliar polyester or sublimated garments before production.
UV DTF Transfers
UV DTF transfers are designed for indoor use on suitable hard surfaces. They are not intended as a permanent outdoor graphics solution.
For best adhesion, surfaces should be:
-
Clean.
-
Dry.
-
Smooth.
-
Free from dust.
-
Free from oil, wax, silicone or other contaminants.
Textured, porous, heavily curved or coated surfaces may reduce adhesion.
We recommend testing unfamiliar surfaces before applying large quantities.
UV DTF & Vehicles
We do not recommend UV DTF transfers as a permanent vehicle graphics solution.
Vehicle surfaces are exposed to significant UV radiation, temperature changes, weather, cleaning chemicals and abrasion.
For long-term vehicle graphics, we recommend using a product specifically manufactured for automotive applications.
Product Images & Screen Representation
Images, photographs, previews and mock-ups shown on our website are provided as a guide.
Actual colours, scale, finish and appearance may vary depending on:
-
The customer's screen.
-
Lighting.
-
Artwork.
-
Transfer type.
-
Garment or surface colour.
-
Garment or surface texture.
-
Garment style/cut/fit
A digital preview should not be treated as a colour-accurate physical proof unless expressly stated otherwise.
Transfer Storage
For best results, unused DTF transfers should be stored:
-
Flat.
-
In a sealed environment.
-
Away from direct sunlight.
-
Away from excessive heat.
-
Away from moisture and humidity.
We recommend storage at approximately 18–24°C and below 50% relative humidity wherever practical.
Transfers exposed to excessive heat or humidity may experience reduced adhesion performance.
Shipping & Delivery
Our production turnaround and courier delivery times are separate.
Where we state a production turnaround, this refers to when your order is ready for dispatch or collection, not when it will arrive at your address.
Courier and postal delivery timeframes are generally estimates provided by the relevant carrier.
Once an order has been collected by the carrier, delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our direct control.
Express shipping refers to the shipping service selected and does not mean we guarantee next-day delivery unless this has been expressly stated by us.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Customer-Supplied Artwork & Intellectual Property
By uploading or supplying artwork to Amazing Transfers, you confirm that you have the necessary rights, licences, permissions or authority to reproduce that artwork.
This includes, where applicable:
-
Copyrighted artwork.
-
Logos.
-
Photographs.
-
Characters.
-
Trademarks.
-
Brand names.
-
Licensed designs.
Our acceptance or printing of an artwork file does not constitute confirmation that the artwork does not infringe another person's intellectual property rights.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel production where we reasonably believe artwork may infringe intellectual property rights or breach our content requirements.
Photography, Video & Social Media
From time to time, Amazing Transfers may photograph or film within our print room, dispatch area and application rooms for marketing, educational and social media content.
As part of this filming, customer orders, transfers or artwork may occasionally be visible in the background or featured as part of our production process.
By placing an order with Amazing Transfers, you acknowledge that customer-supplied artwork may appear in this type of content.
This does not transfer ownership of your artwork or intellectual property to Amazing Transfers.
If your artwork is confidential, commercially sensitive or should not be photographed or filmed, please notify us before production begins.
Custom-Made Products & Change of Mind
Our transfers are custom manufactured using artwork supplied or approved by the customer.
Because production is customised specifically for each order, cancellations or change-of-mind returns may not be available once production has commenced.
This does not affect your rights where the goods are faulty, defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to meet the consumer guarantees provided under Australian Consumer Law.
